The Sideline Bench

The sideline bench takes one of the most overlooked pieces of furniture in the home and adds some style.

This Mid-Century Modern inspired bench is made from solid hardwoods (Urban Lumber shown) using traditional joinery, finished off with a hand applied oil based natural finish. The bench was inspired by the Von Zirngibl coffee table, with sleek lines and a very lightweight appearance however this does not come at the cost of strength.

I can make this bench is any species of hardwoods that you like, the model shown is made from Silky Oak, which is not an oak but a lacewood and is more popular in Australia than it is here in San Diego.
