My name is Ameer, and I am a husband, a father, and a woodworker. I design and build each piece in my home studio workshop. Sometimes I'm able to enlist assistance from my dad, who is not only my mentor but also my hero.
It seems like a lifetime ago I was working at a corporate operations job, having rejected the field of engineering due to a lack of what I felt was my idea of "engineering” and was instead a surplus of meetings, paperwork, and inefficient procedures that left me feeling like nothing in the world would change if one day I stopped showing up. Having a degree in mechanical engineering doesn’t hurt when it comes to the design and build process for furniture however.
Materials are handpicked by me, for each project. Every piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. I dedicate the focus necessary for an amazing piece of furniture every time I build a piece.
